Industrial Process Equipment Sales Representative

Process Controls Solutions, LLC located in St. Louis MO has an immediate opening for an outside sales representative with fluid power and or flow control experience. In conjunction with the distribution of process equipment and control products and value added services, we provide turn-key engineered design/build solutions for virtually any industrial process automation application. We are actively enhancing our portfolio of products and solutions which facilitates much greater penetration into existing customers and offers new application opportunities.

The Industrial Process Equipment Sales Representative will be supported by an experienced customer service organization and engineering team. This individual should be entrepreneurial minded and experienced in working with industrial customers on technical and problem-solving applications.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify and engage new customer opportunities.
  • Communicate and sell the engineered design/build, process automation solutions.
  • Generate leads and sales through prospecting and in-person visits with new prospects.
  • Establish relationships with engineers, purchasing agents, parts managers, plant managers/supervisors, facilities managers, small business owners and other decision makers.

Preferred Skills & Education:

  • Fluid Power systems knowledge and prior industrial sales experience in Missouri and/or Illinois preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven industrial sales experience.
  • Experience covering geographies inducing Missouri and/or Illinois.
  • Previous experience with selling process equipment and controls, specifically fluid power, strongly desired.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of fluid power and related products desired.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills.
  • Excellent communication/people skills.
  • Light overnight planned travel as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Company offers base compensation, plus lucrative incentive compensation for new sales growth. Earning potential well in excess of $100,000 and starting package commensurate with experience.
